Come join us this summer to spend a week doing nothing but theatre!

We are now accepting applications for students aged 13 to 18 to joins us from July 21-28 on campus at Cameron University for NGPAC 2024! Drama is the newest track offered by NGPAC, aimed at students who want to spend a week rehearsing, learning, and performing, but with less singing and dancing than the Musical Theatre track.

You and your fellow cast mates will spend time each day rehearsing to put on a fully staged and costumed play at the end of camp. Roles in the play will be cast based on application materials. In addition to the play, students have the option of performing in a student recital for their fellow campers and members of the community, with coaching offered by our faculty and staff of working theatre professionals and university students pursuing theatre degrees.

When not rehearsing, NGPAC offers a variety of exciting classes, often on subjects that most theatre students are not introduced to until college. NGPAC’s primary goal is education, and our classes help produce well rounded theatre artists with a range of knowledge. Past class topics include improv, stage makeup, acting, stagecraft, auditioning techniques, costume design, script analysis, stage combat, and scenic painting.

Finally, your time at NGPAC is an opportunity to make lifelong friendships with young people your age who share your passion for performing, including our campers in the Musical Theatre and Strings tracks.
